Commemorative Ingots

Commemorative Ingot

Paul Haywood and Sam Ingleson developed the concept for commemorative ingots as a method of fundraising for the project. Each of the large ingots has repurposed ten shotguns, that have been sandcasted in a foundry into shape. Glass artist Daniel Nuttall has added an insert, each one unique with an etched number to denote the batch of guns that it originated from.

Commemorative ingots are now in situ in Vice Chancellor’s Offices at the University of Salford and Middlesex University.
